Noor Muqaddam case: Zahir contacted several people including his father after murder
Significant progress has been made in the Noor Muqaddam murder case, daughter of the former ambassador.

According to the latest details, the accused Zahir Jaffer had contacted his father, friends and many others after killing Noor.
In this regard, sources said that the suspect kept calling different people to control the situation after killing Noor Muqaddam.
The murderer stated someone that dacoits had come and told others that his life was in danger.
After murdering the young girl, the accused made his first 46-second call to his father at 7:29 a.m.
After talking to his father, the suspect called his father's friend at 7.30 am. The call to the accused's father's friend lasted 5 minutes and 46 seconds.
Per sources, the father of the accused told his friend that Zahir had done something wrong and requested him to go to Zahir's house.
During this time, the accused kept calling his friends and calling them home with cunning excuses.
The accused kept asking friends to come to his home and he has been attacked by the robbers.
While he made the last call to his female friend and asked her to come home too.
Talking to his friend, accused Zahir also said that his mother and doctor want him to be admitted to the therapy centre.
On the other hand, the sources also said that according to the police, the accused was fully conscious and was trying cunningly to get out of the situation.
An Islamabad court Wednesday extended the remand of Zahir Jaffer, the main accused in the Noor Mukadam murder case, by three days.
According to details, a hearing of Noor Mukadam murder case was held today during which the judge asked the prosecution to state their arguments to which public prosecutor Sajid Cheema responded that CCTV footage of the incident has been obtained and Zahir had to be taken to Lahore for a forensic exam of the CCTV footage
Following that the public prosecutor requested the court to grant an extension in Zahir's remand for another three days.
Zahir’s lawyer, while objecting to the extension in remand, said that if any forensic exam is to be done, it should be done by taking photos and no further physical remand is required.
"If a photo was enough, we would not have asked for an extension in remand," the plaintiff's lawyer responded.
Following the conclusion of arguments, the court granted a three-day extension in the remand of Zahir.
On July 20, Noor Mukadam was slaughtered at a house in F-7/4. The police arrested a man, identified as Zahir Jaffer, from the murder site.
The officer familiar with the case said that the suspect was a friend of the deceased.
Following the incident, a case under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code has been registered against Zahir at the Kohsar Police Station
On July 25, police arrested the parents of suspect Zahir Jaffer for hiding evidence and being complicit in the crime.
