(Web Desk): Renowned Iranian singer and actor Omid Jahan has passed away at the age of 43 due to a heart attack.
Omid Jahan was known for his unique style of blending southern Iran's folk music with pop, which earned him widespread fame. He was performing on stage during a festival in the city of Bam when he suddenly suffered a heart attack and collapsed.
Emergency teams rushed him to the hospital, where doctors made efforts to save his life and moved him to the ICU, but he could not survive.
Born in 1982 in the city of Abadan, Iran, Omid Jahan was the son of famous musician Mahmoud Jahan. Following in his father's footsteps, he chose music as his profession.
At the age of 34, he released his first official album, which gave him a distinct recognition in the music world.
His popular songs and unique style made him beloved not only among Iranian fans but also among music lovers around the world. His sudden death has deeply saddened fans and the artistic community.
