Advocate Imaan Mazari faces license cancellation reference

Islamabad: A reference has been filed seeking the cancellation of Advocate Imaan Mazari’s license.

The reference was submitted to the Islamabad Bar Council against Advocate Imaan Mazari. Filed by Advocate Adnan Iqbal, the reference accuses Imaan Mazari of being involved in anti-state activities.

The reference requests the permanent cancellation of Imaan Mazari’s license to practice law and calls for a formal inquiry against her.

It is worth noting that Imaan Mazari did not appear before the Islamabad High Court today in the Exit Control List (ECL) case, leading the court to adjourn the hearing.
