Imran Khan has stated that he has been in solitary confinement for 772 days


Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan has written another letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Yahya Afridi.
The letter written by Imran Khan was submitted by Aleema Khan to the R&I branch of the Supreme Court, in which the PTI founder said that the doors of justice are closed to me and my wife.
Imran Khan has stated in the letter that he has been in solitary confinement for 772 days, a 9x11 room has been made a cage, more than 300 political cases have been filed against him, and there is no such example in the history of Pakistan.
The letter further states that Bushra Bibi’s health is deteriorating, but the doctor is not allowed to examine her.
On the other hand, while speaking at the Islamabad High Court (IHC), Aleema Khan said that she has requested the Chief Justice to file a case for the suspension of the sentence of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar has assured to fix the case for the suspension of the sentence on September 25.
