Rawalpindi: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has announced the results of the Intermediate Annual Examination 2025, with female students securing all top three positions through outstanding performance.
Areej Shafqat Hayat from Punjab College for Women, Talagang, clinched the first position by scoring 1148 marks. The second position was secured by Ayesha Mushtaq from the same college with 1139 marks, while Eman Fatima from Royal College of Sciences for Girls, Chakwal, stood third with 1138 marks.
According to the board, the overall pass percentage in the Intermediate examination was 54.12%. Female students outperformed male students, achieving a pass rate of 62.4%, compared to just 39.87% for boys.
A ceremony to honor the position holders was held at Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, where Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi was the chief guest. The event was also attended by Punjab Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture Shazia Rizwan, members of the provincial assembly, and officials from the education department.
The top-performing students were given a Guard of Honour, and Hanif Abbasi awarded them medals and prizes in recognition of their achievements.
