Google Discover feed gets major upgrade with social media posts and shorts
Very soon, users will be able to see much more than just web articles

(Web Desk): If you’re tired of just seeing article links from websites in the Google app, there’s good news for you.
Google has introduced several new features to its Discover feed, aiming to make it more engaging and dynamic.
Very soon, users will be able to see much more than just web articles.
The company announced that the Google Discover feed will now begin showing posts from social media platforms like Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), along with YouTube Shorts.
In a blog post, Google revealed that during search within the app, users will now see a mix of content, including videos and social media posts.
This feature is expected to roll out to users in the coming weeks.
But that’s not the only upgrade to the Discover feed.
Users will now have more ways to customize their feeds.
They’ll be able to follow creators or publishers (those who post web links) to see more of their content.
Additionally, clicking on a creator’s name will allow users to preview their social posts and articles.
Previously, Google had also introduced the AI summaries feature as part of its broader improvements.
