Russia: 7.8 magnitude earthquake hits Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, tsunami warning issued

A 7.8-magnitude earthquake has struck the Russian city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, prompting a tsunami warning.
According to a report by the foreign news agency Reuters, the US Geological Survey said the earthquake struck at a depth of 10 kilometers underground.
The US National Weather Service’s Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii issued a tsunami advisory after the earthquake.
However, no casualties or property damage have been reported so far.
