Google introduces 'Mark as Read' feature for Gmail notifications on Android
This feature had been in testing for several months, and now it has been rolled out to all users

(Web Desk): Google has made a seemingly small but actually very important change for Gmail users.
Yes, Google has added a great option for Gmail notifications on Android phones.
There are many users whose inboxes contain thousands of unread emails. However, the new feature introduced by Google will be very helpful for these users.
The company has added a Mark as Read button in Gmail notifications for Android users.
This feature had been in testing for several months, and now it has been rolled out to all users.
A study showed that, on average, a Gmail user receives 10 to 11 emails per day, which might not seem like a lot. However, when ignored, the number of unread emails gradually increases.
The Mark as Read button will help users manage such emails.
This will be very beneficial for Android users of Gmail, as it will make it easier for them to decide which emails need to be opened and fully read, and which ones can be marked as read without opening them.
By using this feature in notifications, users will save a lot of time, which would otherwise be spent opening the Gmail app or browser to read those emails.
The Mark as Read feature is already available in the Gmail app for iPhone, and this button is similar to the one in other apps like WhatsApp.
