Suspect was collecting large sums of money from citizens under the pretense of arranging Umrah visas

Karachi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Smuggling Circle has arrested an illegal travel agent.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Karachi conducted a raid in the Saddar area and arrested an illegal agent involved in human smuggling. The arrested suspect, Daniyal, was operating an unregistered travel agency under the name "Al-Harmain."
The spokesperson stated that the suspect was collecting large sums of money from citizens under the pretense of arranging Umrah visas. During the raid, nine passports and other travel documents were recovered from his possession.
In addition, the authorities seized mobile phones, a laptop, checkbooks, and official stamps. The accused had been collecting money from citizens for sending them abroad without any legal license.
The FIA spokesperson added that the arrested individual failed to provide a satisfactory explanation regarding the recovered passports. Further investigation into the matter has been initiated.
He emphasized that the crackdown on individuals involved in human smuggling is ongoing, and all available resources are being utilized to arrest those responsible.
