(Web Desk): Nepal has made history in T20 International cricket by defeating the West Indies by 90 runs in the second T20I to win a series for the first time.
Nepal achieved a remarkable upset victory over the West Indies, securing their first-ever T20 series win. In the second T20I, Nepal triumphed by 90 runs, taking a decisive 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
In the second T20 match played in Sharjah, Nepal won the toss and chose to bat first. They scored 173 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted overs, with Aasif Sheikh contributing 68 runs and Sandeep Jora adding 63 runs, both being the top scorers.

On the West Indies side, Aqeel Hussain and Kyle Mayers each took two wickets.
Chasing the target, the West Indies were all out for just 83 runs in the 18th over, with only three of their players reaching double figures.
For Nepal, Adil Alam was the star performer, taking 4 wickets for just 24 runs, while Kushal Bhurtel claimed 3 wickets.
With this 90-run victory, Nepal secured a 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
In the first match of the series, Nepal had also emerged victorious, winning by 19 runs. This marks Nepal’s historic achievement of winning a series against a Full Member team for the first time.
