100 Index increased 900 points

Karachi: As investors’ confidence was restored, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) started setting record after record.
On the fifth and last day of the business week, the stock market witnessed a huge rally at the start of trading, due to which the 100 Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange also crossed the mark of 169,000 points.
With an increase of more than 900 points during the trading session, the 100 Index of the stock market has reached its highest level of 169,450 points.
It is pertinent to note that at the end of the previous business day, the index had closed at 168,489 points with an increase of 2,849 points.
