Train services have been temporarily suspended after the explosion


Shikarpur: Four coaches of the Jafar Express derailed after an explosion on the railway track near Sultan Kot village.
According to the police, the Jafar Express was hit by an explosion on the railway track, and four of its passengers were injured and have been shifted to the hospital for medical attention. The bomb disposal squad has been called to find out the nature of the explosion and is collecting evidence from the affected railway track.
Police say that train services have been temporarily suspended after the explosion, while arrangements are being made to send passengers by bus.
According to the DS Railways, repair work has been started on the affected track, and it may take 8 to 10 hours to repair the track, but there are no trains on this track before 5:00pm.
On the other hand, Sindh Home Minister Zia Lanjar, while seeking details from the SSP Shikarpur, said that an investigation into the incident should be started immediately, and the terrorists who damaged the railway track should be arrested soon.
