865 suspected cases of dengue have been confirmed this year


Rawalpindi: Dengue attacks are continuing in Rawalpindi, with 24 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
According to the District Health Authority Rawalpindi, 12,819 people have been tested for dengue so far this year. 865 suspected cases of dengue have been confirmed this year.
58 patients are under treatment in hospitals and no deaths have been reported due to dengue. According to the Vector Surveillance Report 2025, 5,590,264 houses have been checked so far, while the presence of larvae was found in 175,412 houses.
1,530,631 places were checked and larvae were recovered at 23,536 places, while actions were taken for violation of anti-dengue SOPs.
District Health Officer Dr Jawad Ahmed said that 4,455 FIRs were registered and 1,850 places were sealed. 108 challans and 457 fines were issued.
The list of affected areas in the last 24 hours includes Dhok Kashmir, Takht Padi, Pirodhai, Dhok Gangal, Khayaban Sir Syed, Chak Jalal Din, Dhamial, Dhok Dalal, Kotha Kalan, Kaliyal, Qayyumabad, Ranyal, Ratta Amral, Rehmatabad, and other areas.
