Religious party’s protest continues for second day, twin cities severely affected
Internet service in twin cities is also suspended for second day


Islamabad: Normal life in Rawalpindi and Islamabad is also badly affected for the second day due to the possible protest of a religious party.
Due to the closure of the routes, commercial activities in the twin cities are also suspended, while the Expressway, Faizabad, and IGP Road are also completely closed.
The Faizabad Interchange connecting Rawalpindi and Islamabad is also sealed. The Khanna Bridge, Curry Road, and Dhok Kala Khan routes are also still sealed.
Waris Khan, Committee Chowk, Sixth Road, Shamsabad, Iran Road, Rawal Road, Shaheen Chowk, Saddar, and the routes coming from the old airport are also completely closed.
On the other hand, the Rawalpindi administration has imposed a complete ban on the entry of heavy traffic into the city. The routes leading to the airport have also been sealed by installing containers.
Internet service in the twin cities is also suspended for the second day. Educational institutions are also closed due to the closure of the routes.
Metro bus services in the twin cities have been suspended for the second day in view of possible protests. Police forces have been deployed in Faizabad, and all restaurants and hotels in Faizabad have been sealed.
