Additional coaches will be installed with trains going from Rawalpindi to Lahore


Rawalpindi: Due to the closure of transport stations, metro bus services, and local transport, the railway authorities have made an important announcement for passengers.
Due to the closure of routes and stations, the rush of passengers has increased at the Rawalpindi Railway Station, and queues have formed to buy tickets.
On this occasion, the railway authorities have decided to install additional coaches with trains for the convenience of passengers. According to railway officials, the trains are running as usual.
Pakistan Railways say that additional coaches will be installed with trains going from Rawalpindi to Lahore.
It should be noted that the Rawalpindi Expressway, Faizabad and IGP Road are completely closed. The Faizabad Interchange has also been closed by placing containers. The Khana Pul, Curry Road, and Dhok Kala Khan routes are also closed for the time being.
The roads coming from Waris Khan, Committee Chowk, Sixth Road, Shamsabad, Rawal Road, Shaheen Chowk, Saddar and the old airport are also still closed. The Rawalpindi administration has banned the entry of heavy traffic into the city.
On the other hand, in Lahore, the police have opened the closed roads from Bati Chowk to Ferozwala for traffic. The containers installed before Bati Chowk Ravi Bridge have been removed, and the Shahdara Bridge has also been opened for all types of traffic.
The Chenab Toll Plaza in Wazirabad has been completely closed by placing containers. Containers have also been placed on the Chenab Bridge and trenches have also been dug around it. Due to the closure of the roads, commuters and travelers are facing severe difficulties.
