PTI’s Awn Chaudhry resigns
Lahore: Awn Chaudhry has resigned from his position as Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab on Political Affairs.
According to details, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) has tendered his resignation to CM Punjab Usman Buzdar.
Awn Chauhdry has been an active member of Jahangir Tareen group.
In this regard, the PTI leader has said that he was asked by the Chief Minister's Office to either give up his support to Jahangir Tareen or resign.
“Everyone knows Jahangir Tareen's services to the party. I cannot leave a person alone who has served selflessly,” he added.
He was a close aide of Prime Minister Imran Khan and served as his political secretary.
