Islamabad: Ministry of National Health Services and Swiss company Roche have signed an agreement for provision of free of cost medicines to cancer patients.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister for National Health Services Mustafa Kamal said in the first phase, 745 patients from Islamabad, AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan will receive these medicines free of cost.
He said thirty percent of the cost will be covered by the government, while the remaining seventy percent by Roche company.
