PM lauds FBR on record tax collection of Rs850b in July, Aug
Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan Wednesday lauded the efforts of The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on achieving a record tax collection of Rs850 billion during the month of July and August.
Prime Minister has expressed the confidence that the FBR will comfortably achieve the annual tax collection target of 5,829 billion rupees.
On his official twitter handle, the Premier said that the FBR collected 850 billion rupees during the first two months of current fiscal year, exceeding its own target figure by twenty three percent.
He said this reflects growth of 51 percent in revenue over the same period last year.
