Covid-19: Pakistan starts registration for vaccine of citizens aged 60 and over
Islamabad: The federal government has announced it will now register citizens aged 60 and above for the next phase of the Covid-19 vaccine drive across the country.

Taking to twitter, Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiative Asad Umar wrote that registration is open to all citizens aged 60 and above across the country.
“Registration for 65 and older was already active. Inshallah vaccination for these citizens will start in 1st week march. I urge all citizens of this age group to register,” he said.

Earlier today, National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) said that overall 314,500 coronavirus jabs vaccine shots have been provided to various parts of Pakistan.
Punjab has been provided with overall 118,000 vaccine shots, Sindh with 121,000, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 28,000, Balochistan with 16,000, Azad Kashmir with 11,000 and Gilgit-Baltistan with 5,000 and Islamabad with 15,500, said NCOC in a statement.
A countrywide coronavirus drive started on February 03 after 0.5 million doses of the Sinopharm vaccine arrived in Pakistan from China.
