Islamabad: The dead body of an 11-year-old girl has been discovered inside the washroom of the Metro Bus Station in the G-11 district, within the Ramna police station's jurisdiction in Islamabad.
As per preliminary reports, the minor girl was suffocated to death somewhere else and then moved to washroom of Metro Bus Station.
Reports quoting sources claimed that the girl was allegedly raped and killed, later, her dead body was thrown outside Metro Bus Station.
However, the deceased has been taken to a hospital for medico legal report and autopsy, said police.
The identification of girl is yet to be ascertained by the investigators.
Meanwhile, an investigation team has been formed to look into the bizarre incident.
IG Islamabad Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman has constituted a high level investigation team under the supervision of senior superintendent of police (SSP) Investigation Atta Ur Rehman.
Following the inquiry, two security guards has been taken into custody and further investigation is underway.
