The rupee ended 0.41% higher against the dollar on Thursday

Karachi: The Pakistani rupee continued its surge against the US dollar as the dollar depreciated by 51 paise to Rs 177 in the interbank market on Friday.
The Pakistani rupee delivered another heavy blow to the greenback in inter-bank trading. The US dollar after losing Rs1.51 in its value against the Pakistani rupee now reached Rs176 from Rs177.51, the previous day's close.
The downward trend of the US dollar against the Pakistani currency though long overdue continued for the second day running.
On Thursday, the US dollar lost 73 paisas in its value to reach Rs177.61 from Rs178.24 while the rupee ended 0.41% higher against the dollar.
