Cabinet meeting deferred a summary of establishment of the National Institute of Intelligence and Security Studies


Islamabad: The federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday approved extradition of accused Abdul Qadir Ehsan from Pakistan to UK, said privy sources.
According to the sources, a summary of the extradition of the accused to the UK was presented by the Interior Ministry. The cabinet meeting deferred a summary of the establishment of the National Institute of Intelligence and Security Studies, it added.
The sources said that the appointment of the Karachi Port Trust chairman for two years has been approved and the approval of Pakistan Tobacco Board’s notification has also been given. “The appointment of three members in Pakistan Bureau of Statistics has also been approved,” the sources said.
The sources further said that the approval of the MoU ex post facto between the CPEC Authority and the Chinese Ministry of Environment has been approved, while the agenda of NEPRA’s annual report has been postponed.
