People were making up things and it is good that today the general sahib has cleared it

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that Pakistani politics will move ahead without former premier Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday.
The information minister said shortly after DG ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar rejected speculations about a deal on the return of Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan.
It is pertinent to mention here that the DG ISPR said that no deal was being reached with PMLN quid and former premier Nawaz Sharif, terming all rumours as fabricated and baseless.
Speaking to journalists, Fawad Chaudhry maintained that former premier Nawaz Sharif and former president Asif Ali Zardari have now been relegated to history in the politics of Pakistan. “People were making up things and it is good that today the general sahib has cleared it,” he added.
The minister said that it has become a custom in Pakistan that flares are let out every three months because some people have failed to engage in politics on their own and they are relying on rumours. “The future leadership was somewhere else and Pakistani politics would move ahead without Nawaz Sharif and Zardari,” he added.
