Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan has convened a special meeting of the Apex Committee over Afghanistan today.
The meeting will be chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan. The meeting will be held at the Prime Minister House at 12:00pm and will be attended by federal ministers and high level military officials.
Adviser to the Prime Minister on National Security Dr Moeed Yousaf will give a briefing on issues related to national security during the meeting.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Federal Minister for Defence Pervez Khattak will also brief the Apex Committee meeting.
During the meeting current situation on Afghanistan, border management and national security will be reviewed. Strategies will be chalked out for the defense issues and challenges faced the country.
