Lahore: Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi has favored to tighten the laws regarding the social media usage.

According to the details, Mohsin Naqvi was doing a press conference in Lahore regarding to tighten the laws amid using social media.

He stated that whether it would be Britain or United Arab Emirates everyone knows that what should be done with the ones who shared fake videos. There should be freedom of expression in Pakistan but a law should be there to caught the one who accused someone falsely.

Interior minister said that Karachi’s police is fighting on daily basis with the street crimes. Because of one incident in Bahawal Nagar it should not be said that the whole fore is demoralized now.

He added that Pakistan needs to learn from India on such kind of incidents like Bahawal Nagar. There is a need to change the behaviors.

Israel announces severe response to Iranian attack

Jerusalem: The spokesman of the Israeli army announced a full response to the Iranian attack.

According to media reports, Israel's military chief of staff, Herzi Halvi, confirmed that Israel would give a strong response to the Iranian attack, but he did not provide any details.

Israeli Army Chief Lt. Gen. Herzi Halvi said this in a conversation with his forces on the occasion of a visit to New Atim Air Base, which was hit by Iranian missile attacks.

Chief of the Israeli army Herzi Halvi also encouraged the soldiers at New Atim Air Base.

According to the news agency, the Israeli army could not make any decision regarding the nature and timing of the response to the Iranian attacks, while what will be the reaction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the first direct attack by Iran, a final decision has not yet been made regarding this.

On the other hand, the international community is advising Iran and Israel to show restraint amid fears of increasing conflicts in the Middle East after the Iranian attacks.

In addition, the current situation in Israel is on high alert, but authorities have eased emergency measures, lifting restrictions on school activities and easing restrictions on large gatherings.

While, according to the report of the Qatari Broadcasting Agency, Iran's military spokesman says that if anyone attacks Iran, his hands will be cut off.

“We do not want to spread the war in the region, but we will cut off the hands of those who attack Iran,” wrote the spokesperson of the Iranian army on the social media platform X.

It is pertinent to note that on the night of April 13, Iran fired about 300 drones and cruise missiles at Israel, which was named Operation True Promise, and Israeli defense installations and military bases were targeted in the attack.

According to Iranian media, this attack is in response to the Israeli attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus on April 1, in which 12 people, including the leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, were martyred.

Notably, after 1973, Israel has been targeted by a country for the first time.

Nanbias apprehended in Rawalpindi amid selling roti on high prices 

However, Rs1,70,000 fine has been imposed on 68 Nanbias for violating the rules.

Rawalpindi: The seven Nanbias have apprehended in Rawalpindi amid receiving more price of roti despite the fixed one by the government.

According to the details, the fine has imposed on 68 Nanbias and four roti shops have sealed because of not following the government’s instructions in this regard.  

The district administration is in action for the implementation on the fix prices of roti including Rawalpindi and Punjab. On the other hand, Nanbias association rejected that government’s fix prices and decided to sell the roti on the previous prices.

Deputy commissioner Rawalpindi Hassan Waqar stated that the price magistrate is in action just to make sure the implementation on the fixed prices of roti. More than 100 roti shops have checked in this regard.

However, Rs1,70,000 fine has been imposed on 68 Nanbias for violating the rules.
