Deaths occurred between June 16 and June 22, during which 20 children reportedly died at the DHQ Hospital

(Web Desk): The investigation into the deaths of 20 children at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Pakpattan has been completed. The committee will present its report on July 2.
According to sources, the deaths occurred between June 16 and June 22, during which 20 children reportedly died at the DHQ Hospital. On June 19 alone, five children died in the hospital's children's ward.
The Commissioner of Sahiwal took notice of the incident and formed an investigative committee comprising members from Sahiwal Teaching Hospital and the Health Department. The committee has now completed its inquiry.
It is worth noting that the families of the deceased children alleged that the deaths occurred due to staff negligence and a shortage of oxygen.
