Petroleum association threats to close pumps

Karachi: Pakistan petroleum sellers association has threatened to close the petrol pumps on country level in case of deregulation of petroleum products.

According to the details, petroleum dealer association’s chairman Abd-ul-Sami Khan was addressing to a press conference in press club Karachi.

He stated that petrol will be selling on Rs20 high price in distant areas of Pakistan from deregulation. This problem will be increased because the smuggling of petrol is already a big problem.

Petroleum dealer association’s chairman said that the people will have benefit in case of Pakistan would have done an agreement with Iran. The 75 percent control on petrol industry is only of three big oil marketing companies.

He added that the protestant banners are being displayed in first phase in case of deregulation. Due to deregulation the industry will be destroyed.

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique stated that from chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ali Amin Gandapur’s side a threat to attack on Islamabad is a serious matter.

According to the details, Khawaja Saad Rafique posted a message on social media platform ‘X’ regarding the threat by Ali Amin Gandapur.

He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) KP government attacked on federal in past also to occupy on Islamabad but the consequence which had come out of it was nothing except hatred, economical destruction and conflict.

PML-N’s leader also said that if PTI’s KP government would have come to occupy and attack on Islamabad then it would be impossible for them to go back as rulers. No fascist behavior will be tolerated.

However, Khawaja Saad Rafique advised PTI to use the mind and stop spreading the hatred.

Lahore: Provincial Information Minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azma Bokhari responded to criticism of opposition on Maryam Nawaz wearing police uniform.

In one of her statements, Provincial Information Minister said that all over the world, heads of state add to the honor and respect of their forces by wearing uniforms. Maryam Nawaz is being criticized by the group whose leader is not ready to recognize even his daughter.

She stated: “Nawaz Sharif also did the same during his regime, Maryam maintained this tradition,” adding that there is no need to burn and rot over this action of the Chief Minister of Punjab.

Azma Bokhari further said that Maryam Nawaz has increased the honor and dignity of Punjab Police by wearing police uniform.
