Lahore: The weather in Lahore city will remain cloudy today (Monday), and there is a possibility of rain in night.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be clouds in the sky in the provincial capital, and some drizzle is expected during the day.

The weather forecasters say that the minimum temperature of the city will be 30 degrees and the maximum will be 36 degrees Celsius.

According to the Department of Meteorology, the humidity ratio in the air will remain up to 81 percent. The wind will continue to blow intermittently, the cloudy weather of the city is likely to persist for a few days and the average Air Quality Index (AQI) of Lahore is up to 170.

Downfall in PSX, Index falls below 80,000 points

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continues to decline on the first business day of the week i.e. Monday.

At the start of trading on the first day of the business week, the 100-Index also fell by 80,000 points due to the fall in the stock market.

100-Index is trading at the level of 79,753 points in the Pakistan Stock Exchange after a decrease of 364 points.

It is pertinent to note that on the last day of the last business week, a negative trend was seen at the beginning of the business in the stock exchange. However, at the end of the trading, the 100-Index closed at the level of 80,116 points with a decrease of 1,722 points.

Israeli forces continue to attack Gaza, 64 more martyred

Gaza: The Israeli forces stepped up brutal attacks on central Gaza, killing at least 64 more Palestinians and injuring more than 100 in a single day.

In a report by foreign news agencies, the Ministry of Health in Gaza said that many victims are still buried under the rubble. The civil defense personnel are unable to reach them, adding that since October 7, 2023 at least 38,983 Palestinians have been martyred, including mostly women and children, while the number of injured has exceeded 89,727.

In recent days, the Israeli army has targeted the Nusirat refugee camps.

The displaced Gaza resident Timur Aburkan, who is in Deir al-Balah, said, “We heard explosions in Nusirat camp and saw smoke coming from here in Deir al-Balah”. We are being scared that tanks can come and destroy here too.

He raised the question that where should they go next. The whole of Gaza is on fire and they are being hunted like deer in the forest, when will the war end?

Israeli forces also continued their offensive in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, attacking areas in the middle of the coastal strip where thousands of displaced Palestinians are seeking refuge.
