Karachi: Gilgit Baltistan assembly member Abdul Hameed Khan has joined Pakistan Peoples party (PPP).

According to the details, PPP’s leader Faisal Karim Kundi was doing a press conference regarding the current political situation of the country.

Faisal Karim stated that when Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was in government then they were not ready to sit with anyone. If they want to make a noise then parliament is not the right platform.

He said that one can smoke, brought bands and dance on parliament’s floor even though no one can drink water so if PTI wants to show non-serious behavior they should contact to the other platforms.

On this occasion, another PPP leader also said that president Asif Ali Zardari has a unique political vision. Extra sugar is available in the country if it can be exported then the income can be earned.

PHC Chief justice Ishtiyaq Ibrahim takes oathĀ 

It should be noted that yesterday (Friday) president Asif Ali Zardari had approved the appointment of Ishtiyaq Ibrahim as chief justice PHC.

Peshawar: Justice Ishtiyaq Ibrahim has taken oath as chief justice of Peshawar high court (PHC).

According to the details, the oath taking ceremony was held in governor house Peshawar. The governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Haji Ghulam Ali has taken oath from chief justice of PHC. Chief minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur was also there.

The supreme court (SC) judge justice Musarat Hilali, PHC’s judges, lawyers, chief secretary, inspector general (IG) police, secretary administration and others have also attended the oath taking ceremony.

It should be noted that yesterday (Friday) president Asif Ali Zardari had approved the appointment of Ishtiyaq Ibrahim as chief justice PHC.

Bushra Bibi's medical check-up at private hospital on court order

Islamabad: Bushra Bibi—wife of founder Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan— is undergoing medical examination at a private hospital following the orders of the court.

According to the media reports, along with Bushra Bibi's personal physician Dr. Asim and a team of government doctors are also present in the private hospital. Bushra Bibi's legal team is also present in the hospital.

It is also reported that Bushra Bibi's stomach and blood tests are being conducted and her endoscopy is also being done.

Reports also suggest that apart from endoscopy, Bushra Bibi will also undergo other tests following the instructions of the doctor.

It is pertinent to note that yesterday, the accountability court, while accepting Bushra Bibi's request, ordered her to be tested in a private hospital within two days.
