Rumours have been spread on Twitter about row between PM and First Lady Bushra

Islamabad: Slanderous social media campaign against Prime Minister Imran Khan and his family members left Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Brig (retd) Ijaz Shah in tears on Tuesday.
Ijaz Shah couldn’t control his emotion during the weekly meeting of federal cabinet Tuesday over the social media campaign against the prime minister and his family members.
Since Saturday, rumours have been spread on Twitter about row between PM Khan and First Lady Bushra Imran and the latter’s departure to Lahore.
According to the sources, during the cabinet meeting, the minister couldn’t control his emotions and his tears well up in his eyes. He said that the trends gravely pained him and that he had never seen such campaign against any elected prime minister. “Personal attacks against the premier and his family are not reflective of a cultured society,” he added.
Source also said that the premier expressed his displeasure over the issue and the ministers demanded strict legislation to regulate social media.
