Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Asad Umar have jointly written a letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, pleading him that there are serious threats to the life of Imran Khan and therefore, he should be allowed appearance through the video links.

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday approached the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the cases and summoning orders despite security threats.
PTI vice chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi and General Secretary Asad Umar wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, saying that Imran Khan was booked in fake cases.
They said that there had been serious threats to the life of the PTI Chief.
They appealed to the CJP to allow appearance of Imran Khan before the courts via video links.
According to the sources, Imran Khan also thought to appear before the courts through the video links.
The development took place after Imran Khan said that they were writing a letter to the top court against the summons in what he said “the funny cases”.
