Karachi: The Education Department of Sindh Friday announced summer vacations for two months commencing on June 1.
According to details, the vacations have been announced for all public and private educational institutions that will conclude on July 31.
The institutions are scheduled to reopen from August 1.
The steering committee implemented the decision of extended holidays as the Sindh Education Department presented the recommendation.
Akbar Laghari the Secretary of Education Department stressed that vacations had been scheduled in accordance with the committee’s unanimous agreement.
The Secretary stated that they did not have any plan to prolong the duration of holidays more than specified two months.
