Khairpur: In an unfortunate incident, a student died on Wednesday (today) due to load shedding in the examination room during the board examination of class 11th in Thiri area of Khairpur district of Sindh.
According to the details, the incident took place at Government Degree College Thiri where the exam was being conducted.
The victim Mehtab Ali’s condition got worse due to suffocation and when he was taken to the hospital, he died on the way.
Notably, the Minister for Education Board Ismail had also ordered uninterrupted power supply in the examination centers during the exams due to the increasing heat intensity in Sindh.
The Education Department of Sindh had issued the notification of summer vacations across the province.
According to the notification, the holidays in educational institutions will start from June 1, 2023 and end on July 31, 2023. All schools will open as usual from August 1.
