White House condemns severe harassment of Muslim female journalist.

Washington: White House has strongly condemned the online harassment of a Muslim female journalist by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi after she questioned him about human rights issues.
National Security Officer Jan Kirby expressed dismay over the harassment faced by the journalist.
He emphasized that the White House unequivocally denounces any harassment of the press anywhere in the world, as it undermines democratic principles.
According to sources, Sabrina Siddiqui, a journalist associated with The Wall Street Journal, posed a question regarding democracy in India during a press conference with President Joe Biden.
Since then, Siddiqui has been subjected to intense criticism and harassment on the internet, with individuals targeting her for being Muslim.
