The nation is standing with its army and its chief,” PM Shehbaz.

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned a social media "campaign" for the assassination attempt on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir.
The premier stated that a similar campaign was undertaken for May 9 vandalism. He warned the "planners, facilitators, and handlers of the May 9 incident" that any attempt against Pakistan and its institutions would be destroyed with an iron hand.
PM claimed that an evil mind created the disgusting, fraudulent, and evil media campaign against the army chief and the army.
Conspirators and anti-state factions are once again engaged in attempting to destabilize the country politically and economically. The media campaign against martyrs is part of a continuous malevolent campaign, he said.
Shehbaz directed the relevant institutions to take legal action against media campaigns both at the national and international levels.
He stated that the media campaign against the army and its commander does not fall within the umbrella of free expression. "It's just a conspiracy that should be crushed with full force," he added.
The nation is standing with its army and its chief,” PM Shehbaz concluded.
