PDM leaders accuse PTI chief of having connections with India, Israel
Both Ata Tarar of PML-N and Sherry of PPP criticize Imran Khan, saying that he never condemned the acts of terrorists.
Islamabad: Leaders of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) made allegations on Tuesday, claiming that the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has connections with India and Israel.
During a press conference, Climate Minister Sherry Rehman, accompanied by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ataullah Tarar, criticized the PTI chairman, stating, "The PTI chairman never condemned the actions of terrorists."
Tarar launched a fresh attack on the embattled party, claiming that Israel provided support to the PTI and made donations to the party.
Earlier, Sherry had also tweeted on the subject matter.
On other hand, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon took a strong stance against the PTI chief, accusing him of having a “dictatorial attitude”.
Memon while speaking to the media called on politicians to face the legal cases against them. He added, “We will refrain from making any statements that could promote extremism, especially with upcoming elections."
Regarding the healthcare system in Karachi, Memon emphasized, Karachi is one of the top cities in terms of healthcare facilities.
He claimed that the PPP never gained power through dishonest means and lauded his party. He emphasized that the PPP made significant sacrifices and has actively fought against judicial activism and dictatorships.
He added that the PPP was more focused on alleviating poverty in the country than on political rivalries.
