More political leaders join IPP
“We have prepared our manifesto keeping in mind the relief of the common man,” Tareen said.
Narowal: A group of former politicians and ticket holders from Narowal joined the Istehkam Pakistan Party (IPP) on Monday.
Mian Usman Rasheed, the son of former MNA Mian Rashid, and Chaudhry Sajjad Mahis are among the group.
The former lawmakers Usman Rasheed and Sajjad Mahis met IPP Patron-in-Chief Jahangir Tareen at his residence.
According to Tareen, the IPP is embracing the largest political party in Narowal. He claimed that they were devoted to creating the best policies for the general welfare.
“We have prepared our manifesto keeping in mind the relief of the common man,” Tareen said.
Earlier last week, Malik Wajid from Sheikhupura and Muhammad Kamran from Lahore, two prominent politicians, joined the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).
Recently, senior IPP leader Mian Khalid Mehmood met with the two-party leaders and heartily welcomed their choice to join the party.
Both leaders were given party stoles to wear during the meeting by Mian Khalid Mehmood.
Kamran expressed complete trust in President Abdul Aleem Khan and IPP Patron-in-Chief Jahangir Khan Tareen's ability to lead the party.
He claimed that public support for the IPP has grown quickly. People from all walks of life have an equal right to participate in politics.
Wajid added that the May 9 events left a stain on the political landscape of the country.
He thought Abdul Aleem Khan and Jahangir Khan Tareen would lead the nation to prosperity and advancement.
Mehmood also welcomed the young leadership warmly and reaffirmed that IPP will play a vital role in the nation's progress, prosperity, and building.
