The investigating officer requested to extend the judicial remand of accused.


Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Friday extended the judicial remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ejaz Chaudhry in Jinnah House attack and vandalism case till September 09.
According to details, ATC heard the case related to Jinnah Haas attack and riots, in which police presented Ejaz Chaudhry before the court.
During the hearing, the investigating officer sought time from the court to prepare challan of the Jinnah House attack case saying that challan was being prepared.
The investigating officer requested to extend the judicial remand of accused, which the court accepted and further extended the judicial remand of PTI leader till September 09.
It is pertinent to note that earlier the court had sent Ejaz Chaudhry to jail on another 14-day remand after his judicial remand ended on July 24.
Earlier on August 23, the court once again extended the judicial remand of Ejaz for 13 days.
A case is registered against Ejaz Chaudhry in Shadman police station. He was arrested on May 11 from Gilgit-Baltistan House under Three Maintenance of Public Order (3 MPO).
