SHC orders police to register Usman Dar's missing case

Karachi: The Sindh High Court (SHC) Wednesday ordered the police to register a case of disappearance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Dar.

According to details, the Supreme Court heard the case against PTI leader Usman Dar's detention and disappearance.

Sindh High Court also directed the police to register a case and submit a report on October 03.

The court was told by the police that the petitioner did not approach to register the case.

The petitioner’s lawyer Barrister Ali Tahir told the court that petition regarding the disappearance of Usman Dar was submitted on the first day itself.

Public prosecutor said: “The petitioner can record his statement to the police if he wants, Usman Dar is not in police custody”.

Barrister Ali Tahir stated that the caretaker Home Minister of Sindh has admitted in a TV program that Usman Dar is in the custody of the police, now the police say that he has not been detained.
