Islamabad: After depreciating for more than a month, the US dollar has started to become expensive again.
According to details, the US dollar became expensive by Rs3 in the open market and Rs1.47 in the interbank market today (Wednesday).
After appreciating the value of Rs1.47 in interbank, the foreign currency has settled at Rs278.50.
The dollar was at Rs277.03 at the close of business yesterday (Tuesday).
On the other hand, the dollar settled at 280 rupees after becoming expensive by Rs3 in the open market.
At the close of business yesterday, the dollar was at Rs277 in the open market.
Positive trend in stock exchange
A positive trend is being observed in the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) today. Pakistan Stock Exchange 100 index increased by 101 points to 49,632.
100 index closed at 49,531 points at the close of business yesterday.
