Strict security arrangements were made around the court on the occasion of the appearance of PML-N president.


Lahore: Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Wednesday appeared before the Accountability Court of Lahore in the Ramzan Sugar Mill Reference.
According to the details, the accountability court had summoned Shehbaz Sharif in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) reference.
Strict security arrangements were made around the court on the occasion of the appearance of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president.
During the hearing, Shehbaz Sharif came to the rostrum and said: “I was summoned in the clean water case and arrested in the dirty drain case. I will not discuss the merits of the case that my lawyer will do. This case has been going on for many years”.
He stated that for the first time he was summoned by the court in clean water case and was arrested Ashiana Reference in which he was provided justice by the court. Later, NAB arrested him in the dirty drain case that a drain was constructed outside his son's sugar mill.
The former prime minister told the court that this dirty canal was constructed by a Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA). ‘Thousands of clean water projects were installed during my tenure, this mill is our hereditary sugar mill, which I have transferred to my son’.
