Lahore: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and NA-161 candidate Faisal Mir has expressed confidence that the impact of the NA-127 elections would be felt across Lahore, Punjab, and Pakistan, with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emerging victorious to form the government in Punjab.

“This constituency will make Bilawal Bhutto Zardari the next prime minister of the country,” said Faisal Mir while addressing a ceremony held in connection with the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto on Wednesday.

He claimed that the PPP would win the elections and the next Punjab chief minister and prime minister would be from the party.

The PPP leader said the impact of the NA-127 elections would extend beyond Lahore, encompassing Punjab and the entire nation, predicting that PPP would secure the positions of Chief Minister and Prime Minister in Punjab.

He emphasized that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, contesting from NA-127 Lahore, will be elected as the Prime Minister this time.

Khurram Farooq, Adnan Gorcy, and Malik Imran Khokhar also addressed the gathering.  They They collectively conveyed that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto were martyred in an attempt to eliminate the PPP.

Faisal Mir said that PPP continued to adhere to the philosophies of Benazir Bhutto and Bhutto, emphasizing their ongoing commitment to the principles of "Roti, Kapra, aur Makan" (Bread, Clothing, and Shelter). He highlighted that despite four terms in office for the Sharif family, the NA-127 constituency's underprivileged children still lacked access to clean water, education, and healthcare.

He criticized the Sharif family for their repeated terms in power without addressing the fundamental needs of the deprived segments of society in the NA-127 constituency.
