The police of Model Town station told the court that more investigation is required from Sanam Javed.

Lahore: The session court Lahore Monday extended the physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) activist Sanam Javed.
According to the details, the case of burning the office of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) against Sanam Javed was heard in the Session Court, in which the police presented the accused in the court after completing the two-day physical remand and requested for more physical remand.
The police of Model Town station told the court that more investigation is required from Sanam Javed, therefore further physical remand of the accused should be allowed.
Sanam Javed's lawyer opposed the physical remand, however the court reserved the decision on the request of the police, after some time it pronounced the decision extending the remand of Sanam Javed.
It is pertinent to note that the case against Sanam for burning the office of Muslim League (N) has been registered in the Model Town police station.
She had submitted nomination papers against PML-N chief organizer Maryam Nawaz from National Assembly constituency NA-119 in Lahore, which was rejected.
