Islamabad: The Federal Ministry of Interior said that the delay in compiling the election results has been reviewed which is caused due to communication problems that are caused to the precaution of making the security situation foolproof.
The Federal Ministry of Interior, giving an explanation on the delay in the election results, said that it took a lot of time to protect the personnel and the ballot, now the situation is satisfactory and the results are expected to flow.
The Ministry of Home Affairs stated that the concerns regarding the delay in processing the results from the public, media to the concerned returning officers have been reviewed.
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, concerns regarding the delay in processing the results have been attributed to a lack of communication, which was the result of precautionary measures taken to ensure foolproof security.
The protocols to ensure the safety of both staff and ballots are comprehensive, which took a lot of time. The situation is now satisfactory and the results are expected to continue, they added.
