Paris: Colombian artist Shakira is gearing up to unveil her latest music album, ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran' (women don't cry anymore), marking her return after a seven-year hiatus.

The highly anticipated album is scheduled for release on March 2, 2024.

The acclaimed singer, a recipient of three Grammy Awards and four Latin Grammy Awards, characterized the album's production as an "alchemical process," emphasizing the transformative journey each song represents for her. In a statement, Shakira expressed, “Making this body of work has been an alchemical process. While writing each song I was rebuilding myself. While singing them, my tears transformed into diamonds, and my vulnerability into strength.”

‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran' will feature 16 tracks, including eight new songs, one remix, and seven unreleased singles.

Shakira's previous album, ‘El Dorado,' was released in 2017, featuring collaborations with renowned artists such as Maluma, Nicky Jam, Prince Royce, Carlos Vives, among others.

Shakira's triumph at the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards underscored her continued musical prowess, as she clinched top honors in categories like “Song of the Year,”  “Best Pop Song,” and “Best Urban Fusion/Performance,”.
