Section 144 in Islamabad, Karachi for security concerns
Ban will be imposed on the gathering of five or more people
Islamabad: Section 144 has been imposed in the federal capital Islamabad and Karachi due to the protest by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on November 24 for security reasons.
No political meeting, procession, or gathering of any kind will be allowed in the federal capital and Karachi. A ban will be imposed on the gathering of five or more people and a notification has been issued by the government.
According to the notification issued by the government, Section 144 has been imposed in the Quaid-e-Azam city for seven days, which will remain in force until November 24. According to the Karachi Commissioner, a ban will be imposed on the gathering of five or more people.
The Karachi Commissioner further said that a ban will be imposed on meetings, processions, or gatherings of every nation, and action will be taken against those who do not follow the law.
