Islamabad: 68 percent of Pakistanis suffer from medical problems due to smog.
A new survey conducted by Ipsos Pakistan revealed that the public said they suffered from respiratory diseases the most due to smog.
In the survey, 68 percent complained of cough, 66 percent had flu, 37 percent had difficulty breathing, and 29 percent complained of eye irritation.
The highest rate of those suffering from medical problems due to smog was seen in Punjab at 77 percent, 87 percent in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, and 84 percent in Lahore reported suffering from respiratory diseases.
In the city of Peshawar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 76 percent complained of suffering from respiratory diseases due to smog.
