Six cases of chikungunya reported in Peshawar
Virus spreads through mosquito bites and its symptoms appear for three to seven days

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department said that six cases of the chikungunya virus have been reported in the Shamshto camp in Peshawar.
According to the KP Health Department, this virus spreads through mosquito bites and its symptoms appear for three to seven days.
The Health Department stated that the symptoms of Chikungunya include fever, headache, joint pain, swelling, and skin rash.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department directed the public for measures to protect themselves from mosquitoes and take special care of cleanliness so that the spread of the virus can be prevented.
