Islamabad: Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin said on Saturday that Saudi Arabia had assured Pakistan to provide $3.6 billion financial package for oil buying .

"The financial package has been finalized with Saudi Arabia. Pakistan will be able to utilize it for two years," the minister told reporters in Jhelum.
He said Saudi Arabia would pay $3.6 billion to the government of Pakistan on monthly basis over a period of two years.
Tarin said the government of Pakistan would receive $150 million per month that would be utilized only for crude oil purchase.
