Twitter is testing an ‘Undo Send’ feature for paid users
Twitter is testing out an ‘Undo Send’ feature that could give users a short time to rethink posting a tweet even after they hit send.
Reportedly, Twitter is working on paid subscription models, introducing a “Super Follows” feature to let users charge their followers for access to exclusive content which is likely to launch this year.
The new feature, temporarily dubbed Super Follows, would have the ability to pay creators for content including newsletters.
The company comprised “undo send” feature in a user survey last year asking which features people would like to have available through a subscription model.
It's not quite the edit button users have long requested, but it's a step toward helping users to catch errors and slow down before sending tweets.
The feature was discovered by Jane Manchun Wong who posted a GIF on Twitter that shows a blue "undo" bar appearing beneath the words "Your Tweet was sent."

Twitter has been exploring options to generate revenue from its social media users and expand to subscription models like Substack and this feature would reduce platform's dependence on ad revenue.
A Twitter spokeswoman said that the feature was being tested as part of the company’s exploration of how subscriptions could work on the App.
In January, it purchased newsletter company Revue, diversifying beyond its advertisement based revenue model.
"Twitter would be testing and repeating possible paid-for features over time," she added.
